My dear friends, 

Somewhat embarrassing to admit, I’m not getting an annual bonus and 
Christmas is tight this year. I will be making bedroom slippers for you 
all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes. You’ll most likely agree 
that it’s a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I’ve 
included the instructions below. 
 
How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads: 

You need four maxi pads to make a pair. 
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part. 
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top. 
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part. 

Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most 
aesthetically appealing), etc.

These slippers are: 
* Soft and Hygienic 
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles 
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh 
* No more bending over to mop up spills 
* Disposable and biodegradable 
* Environmentally safe 
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.

nifty slippers for yourself….

I have worked at the Wolf for almost 8 years and in those eight years…I have not put up a christmas tree.  One good reason was that I had a house cat.  Another reason, I just hate decorating it.  My mom puts enough up for me.  Last year she put up 11 trees in her house.  And not little Charlie Brown trees either.  These are big 6 to 9 foot trees all decored and looking beautiful.  But this year I thought, I have a new baby boy and no house cat so I will attempt to put up a tree.  With the help of my husband we put up our first Christmas Tree together.  We have white lights on it with a few balls that I hand painted and small mirror orniments with snowflakes on them that we used as decorations at our wedding reception.  The angel on top is from my Grandmother who collected angels.  She passed away two years ago.  Our first Christmas tree is filled with wonderful memories already! There are even a few presents under the tree. 

totally bummed that Warren didn’t win last night on Dancing With the Stars…but Brook deserved it.  She turned into an amazing dancer.  Props to Warren for a well deserved second place.

If we weren’t frying our turkey this year…I would try this!  My mom would die if I served this!  Has anyone ever tried this.  You use tin foil to cover the turkey.  You can leave a comment and let me know.

Okay…I know Brook is by far the best Celebrity dancer this season…but I love Warren.  Ha has got the moves!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  We spent it visiting relatives…eating  and playing cards…now that’s my kind of Sunday!!!

My morning was spent ohhing and aweing over my son.  I just love the morning hours.  he is usually in such a great mood and this morning he was extra smiley!  He is starting to coo more and is discoviering he has a voice.  Here he is this morning.

How funny looking are we?  The smaller one is from last year and the bigger one is from this year.  I think Erin looks a lot like herself…but me?  what the hell???
